Whiteface Mountain Bike Park

Home > Trail description & map

Whiteface Mountain Bike Park offers riding for all abilities and styles of riding, from hard core dh, to gentle cruisers, great cross country trails and everything in between. We have a total of 27 very different trails, and also offer the most vertical in the east with a whopping 2,476 feet. Expect each run to take approximately 40 minutes with a gondola ride up and your memorable ride down.

This break down of our 27 trails will give you an idea of the diversity of trails we have to offer:

Singletrack: 17

Doubletrack: 1

Ski trails: 5

Service roads: 4

From the summit (serviced by the Cloudsplitter Gondola) all runs are expert only. Big bikes and full pads are the norm for these trails. Naturally challenging and some have been referring to these as "old school dh runs".

We also run our shuttle bus twice an hour for our beginner/intermediate dh trails.

We consider all trails serviced by the shuttle bus as beginner/intermediate dh/ advanced cross country trails.

For those of you that want just want to ride cross country all you need is the $10.00 day pass and it's only a 600 foot climb to where the shuttle bus drop off is. We plan on improving the x-c network of trails this year to accommodate all types of mountain bikers. These trails are beautiful adirondack style singletrack.

This season we will be making on mountain kiosks  wth large trail maps at several junctions on the mountain. These large maps will be marked with an arrow indicating "You Are Here" and should make it so you can easily find your way around this very big mountain.
